Mountain Life Church is an Apostolic Pentecostal church located right on the Virginia and Kentucky State Line. We are comprised of a diverse group of people at various stages of life, from college undergrads, young professionals, and established families with kids, to retired empty-nesters. We're into connecting with Jesus in a real and relevant way, connecting with other people in authentic, meaningful relationships, and living out our faith consistently in all details of our lives.

Sunday Service is where we gather together for worship and a word from the Lord. It is a place where we are reminded of what is true, and where we are urged to live out what we believe the other six days of the week. It is also where we can invite friends to hear the simple truth about who Jesus is and what he has done for them. We know that going to a church for the first time can be an intimidating experience, full of questions like "What is going to happen?" "Will I be dressed right?" "What will the worship be like?" " Will there be people there like me?" We do not want you to be unsure about trying out Mountain Life on Sunday, So here is what you might want to know ahead of time.
Before the Service
Feel free to wear whatever you feel most comfortable in, whether a t-shirt and jeans, or a button-down and slacks. Grab some breakfast from our café located in the fellowship hall. When you are ready, you can head into the sanctuary and grab a seat.
DURING THE SERVICE
Worship and Offering
We start our services with worship by singing songs to Jesus. Our worship music ranges from well-known hymns to new gospel-centered songs. We want you to be able to express worship to Jesus in a way that is real and genuine. We also set aside time during our services for those who would like to give to God's church. If you are visiting there is absolutely no obligation to give.
Preaching
After worship, Pastor Hogg will preach a message from the Lord. We aim to preach a message in a way that is clear and understandable to all, regardless of church experience, and also in a way that challenges us to put it into practice.
After the Service
Service usually lasts up to 90 minutes. Please feel free to hangout and meet people afterwards; we would definitely like to meet you!
