Billy J. Hogg served as the Pastor of Mountain Life Church from 1984 until 2005, at which time he took over the role of Bishop of the church. Along with a Master's degree in Divinity from Indianapolis Bible College, he has extensive knowledge and leadership to help guide the church today.

He and his wife Trallis have two children, Brian and his wife Shannon, and five grandchildren; Caleb and his wife Tori, Billy and Ryan and his wife Dayjha Hogg. As the founding Pastor of the church, Bishop Hogg has overseen two moves in locations, the founding of a Christian School, and the establishment of a 35+ year ministry.
